Vitaly Laletin vs Kamil Jablonski Prediction: EVW 27 Title Match

By Voice of Armwrestling · 18 October 2026

Vitaly Laletin (Russia) and Kamil Jablonski (Poland) headline East vs West 27 in Budapest on 24 October 2026. They fight with the right arm for the vacant super heavyweight world title, best of 7 rounds. The belt has been empty since Levan Saginashvili gave it up on 31 July to recover from injury.

Head-to-head

They have never met with the right arm. Their only match was left-handed: Laletin won 4-2 at King of the Table 11 (Dubai, June 2024). In our preview we point out that once Kamil got into his position late in that match, Laletin could not get out of it, so the left-arm score is not the whole story.

Tale of the tape

Laletin's case

Laletin has held the left-arm super heavyweight title since EVW 16, when he beat Artyom Morozov 4-2. In 2026 he beat Devon Larratt 4-0 and Alizhan Muratov 4-0 in left-arm title defences. His only loss this year came in the right-arm rematch with Devon at EVW 23 (1-4), and he already has a win over Kamil.

Kamil's case

Kamil comes in on three straight right-arm wins: Jerry Cadorette 4-1 (EVW 21), Michael Todd 3-0 (EVW 22) and Georgi Tsvetkov 4-2 (EVW 25). He does not need to win the hand. He needs to get his wrist under yours and his shoulder behind it, and from there his press is very hard to stop. He is also comfortable in long matches.

Our pick: Laletin, but expect a battle
Coach Ray: "I have Vitali as a favourite. I do feel like it's going to be a battle." Laletin's best chance is fast pins in the early rounds. Kamil has to get tight in his position quickly, slow the match down and make Laletin tired.
Jedi: Laletin should be the favourite, with more ways to win: hand control, speed and side pressure. But if Kamil gets his position and the match gets long, it is dangerous for anyone.
